Fans of nostalgic advertisements and Americana will not want to miss this capsule as there’s plenty of ’70s inspired graphics featuring A&W’s Root Bear mascot, root beer floats, and retro co-branding. While many of the pop-ups for this capsule were to be held at participating A&W locations, preventative measures for the spread of the pandemic reduced the number of pop-ups to a single Nago, Okinawa opening which saw the release of a commemorative Chocolate Jesus Burger at the fast food chain.
