Aziz Ansari’s ‘Master of None’ Season Three Is Coming to Netflix Later This May 2021
Returning after a four-year hiatus.
The much-delayed season three of Netflix‘s comedy, Master of None is officially set to make its way to streamers this Spring.
Created by Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang, the show had an unprecedented schedule with its first season premiering in 2015, and the second season arriving in 2017. The third season comes after a four-year hiatus and is expected to be the final season for the show.
HYPEBEAST previously reported that the third season will be set in London and see the return of Ansari as Dev Shah and Lena Waithe as Denise. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker star Naomi Ackie was previously indicated to join the cast as well.
In 2017, Ansari and Waithe won an Emmy for outstanding comedy writing for the season two episode, “Thanksgiving”, focusing on Denise’s relationship and struggles with her family. Ansari and Young also won an Emmy for writing in the show’s first season.
Netflix has yet to reveal the official debut date for season three of Master of None, however, fans can expect the show’s return for May 2021.
