The 'Fast & Furious 9' Second Official Trailer Is Now Live

Flying cars. Magnets. Han.

With movies slowly returning back to theaters, the world is treated today to the latest iteration of the Fast Saga: Fast & Furious 9.

As previously teased in the last official trailer, the return of Han (played by actor Sung Kang) is the highlight of this trailer, to which the “family” seemed shocked to discover but nevertheless adopt him back into the crew almost immediately. This time around international cyber criminal Cipher (Charlize Theron) teams up with Jakob Toretto (John Cena), Dom’s younger brother, who seems hellbent on “revenge” for living in his brother’s shadow all this time.

While it’s questionable if the nontuple sequel – 10th if you count Hobbs & Shaw – is even about cars anymore, the trailer might dispel that argument: the 3:24-min-long preview showcases R34 Skyline GT-Rs, SRT-8 Jeep Grand Cherokees, Toyota Supras and more. The trailer even displays some gravity-bending magnets, flying cars and yes, even a quick scene that straddles the upper atmosphere, confirming rumors of the franchise heading into space.

Fast & Furious 9 is slated for theaters on June 25 in the U.S., and July 8 in the United Kingdom. Watch the wild trailer above, and learn about the recently-sold $500k USD BMW M1 supercar – owned by late Fast actor Paul Walker.
