CD Projekt Red Has Only Refunded 30,000 Copies of 'Cyberpunk 2077'
A drop in the bucket for the company.

CD Projekt Red has refunded just 30,000 copies of Cyberpunk 2077 out of the 13.7 million the company sold.
Due to the game’s rampant bugs and performance issues, the title has amassed criticisms from frustrated players around the world where many have either requested or considered full refunds. The company has set up a “Help Me Refund” program to facilitate the returns, but there seems to be just a small fraction of players who have actually benefited from it. The returns cost the company $2.17 million USD compared to the $560 million USD in revenue that was gained last year.
According to sources, some players are pointing out that receiving a refund from CD Projekt Red is quite a laborious process, where it requires customers to take so many steps that people have been discouraged from sending in their requests. Nevertheless, about 95 percent of requests have been processed. The remaining five percent remains in limbo and is “probably the most difficult part,” says CFO Piotr Nielubowicz. “Please take into consideration that we are refunding people all over the world and working with different banking systems. It’s not an easy task.”
CD Projekt Red continues to push forward in fixing its issues, and it seems the company will not stop until players can experience the game to its full potential.
In case you missed it, CD Projekt Red’s CEO has stated the company will not give up on Cyberpunk 2077.
