Art of Football Transforms Sports Jackets Into Joggers for Latest Capsule
Limited to just sixteen pieces.
Following the launch of its ’90s-inspired “Electronics” capsule, London-based collective Art of Football now readies the launch of its upcoming leg wear collection, crafted using retro sports jackets.
The label — which upcycled vintages scarves for a jumper capsule earlier this year — has become renowned for its upcycling projects and the way it celebrates the tradition of football through its apparel and accessories, playing with the nostalgia that surrounds the sport.
For its forthcoming leg wear capsule, AoF has reworked a handful of sportswear jackets from Nike, adidas and PUMA, to create a sixteen-piece trouser capsule — as well as a handful of bucket hats — that’s not only unique, but a nod to the rich heritage of retro sportswear too.
Set to launch on April 22, Art of Football’s full reworked trouser capsule will be available from the brand’s online webstore.
