Burger King Japan Doubles Down on Unattractiveness With Its "Teriyaki Ugly Beef Burger"
Following up “The Cheese Ugly Beef Burger.”

Burger King Japan has once again delivered and out of this world combination that is sure to leave burger connoisseurs worldwide curious to try. This time, the fast-food company has promised to focus solely on the taste of the burger, placing minimal effort in the aesthetic presentation of the item.
In the past year, the best-selling item on the Japanese Burger King menu has been “The Cheese Ugly Beef Burger”, which like its name, fans can expect exactly what it references – a sloppy, messy non-aesthetically pleasing burger. Following up on its popularity, the burger joint has officially doubled down on the ugliness with a saucy rendition, the new “Teriyaki Ugly Beef Burger”.
Like “The Cheese Ugly Beef Burger”, the “Teriyaki Ugly Beef Burger” also features its signature four-cheese bun which includes Gouda, Egmont, Mozzarella and Cheddar layered and baked onto the bun. The rich teriyaki sauce is slathered between the burger patty, condiments and sides like pickles, lettuce, charred onions and red miso paste. The combination of flavors are expected to highlight the tangy teriyaki source, touting Burger King Japan‘s “Teriyaki Ugly Beef Burger” as a sweet and sour burger.
The “Teriyaki Ugly Beef Burger” is available across Burger Kings in Japan for 690 yen (approximately $6.90 USD).
