Volkswagen‘s Electric ID.Buzz Microbus will be hitting American roads in 2023. While several versions of the EV exist, only the ID.Buzz will be available in the U.S., whereas Europe will be getting a variety.

American consumers will only get to choose the ID.Buzz in a long-wheelbase passenger format. According to sources, the entry-level ID.Buzz will have roughly 200 horsepower as a rear-wheel-drive model. Those who want a little more power can opt for a higher-end version — all-wheel-drive and 300hp. The vehicle will supposedly come equipped with a battery system that lasts 340 miles per charge — a large solar roof panel tacks on an extra nine miles. The original launch date for the vehicle was set at 2022, but it’s now been pushed to 2023, instead.

In case you missed it, Volkswagen has teased its all-electric sedan Project Trinity.
