English Sole and Sotheby‘s have revealed Usher‘s highly-coveted Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 11 “Metallic Gold” samples. These two pairs are officially up for auction at Sotheby’s unit March 29, 2021.

The Air Jordan 9s were reportedly worn by Usher in 2013 during a taping of NBC’s The Voice. The silhouette is rumored to be only one of eight in existence, featuring a prominent all-Gold Metallic patent leather. The shoe comes together with a Blackout treatment as seen on the liner of the shoe. Outsoles are featured in a translucent gold tint, matching with the rest of the shoe. The sneaker alludes to Usher’s brand, showcasing his iconic three-star logo on the tongue. The Jumpman branding appears on the side and bottom of the soles.

As for the Air Jordan 11s, Usher wore the pair when he performed at the 2014 iheartradio Music Festival in Las Vegas. This pair is also limited and one of eight that are expected to be in circulation. Continuing the hard-to-miss all-Gold Metallic patent leather upper theme, the pair also features a blacked-out liner and Usher’s three-star branding.

Those interested can place a bid for the Air Jordan 9s and Air Jordan 11s on Sotheby’s online auction page. Both have a starting bid of $15,000 USD and are expected to sell between $18,000 to $24,000 USD.
