'Undertale' Is Finally Arriving on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
Almost six years after its original launch.
After almost six years since its initial release, Toby Fox‘s Undertale is finally arriving to both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The indie RPG will be joining the Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, and while your PC save data won’t be compatible with the new ports, its publisher 8-4 Ltd has reassured that the game will be getting “Xbox-specific” enhancements that make gameplay more comfortable on the console platform.
“We know it’s been a long time coming, but we’re extremely excited to finally be bringing Undertale to Xbox players the world over,” 8-4’s John Ricciardi said.
For those unfamiliar, Undertale is an RPG that provides unique interactions with every monster you encounter, whether you choose to fight or show mercy. How you play and control your character in the game will fully affect the outcome and development of the story. Of course, it also features a killer soundtrack and great “endearing characters” to provide a true RPG experience.
Arriving on Xbox Game Pass on March 16, the game will also be available for standalone purchase at $15 USD.
Elsewhere in gaming, a new Typing Quest RPG is coming to Nintendo Switch.
