RedMagic has just teased its impressive RedMagic 6 Pro gaming smartphone. Packed with the latest tech, this phone boasts some impressive specs like a 6.8-inch AMOLED display (165Hz refresh rate), 500Hz single finger/360Hz multitouch sampling rates, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a Snapdragon 888 processor, LPDDR5 RAM running at 5500Mbps, and an ICE 6.0 multi-dimensional cooling system.
While the RAM is technically 12GB, RedMagic’s RAM memory-boosting compression technology allows for it to run like 18GB. The cooling system is an actual fan matched with a heatsink and thermal paste. The fan sees 0.1mm blades and sits on the world’s thinnest vapor chamber at 0.33mm in thickness where the fan spins up to 20,000 rpm to bring the temperature down by 16°C (60.8°F) — all remaining at a silent 28db.
The RedMagic 6 Pro with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is set to drop on March 16 for a price of ¥6,599 RMB (approximately $1,017 USD).
