Kith Will Donate Proceeds from Biggie Smalls-Inspired Collection to Brooklyn Schools
Funds will go to supplying the schools with books, tech, furniture and more.

Shortly after revealing a spacious new Paris flagship, Kith has announced it will donate a portion of proceeds from its upcoming Kith for The Notorious B.I.G. collection to six Brooklyn schools, in partnership with the Christopher Wallace Estate.
The funds will go to supplying the schools with “books, technology, software, furniture, food and more,” according to Kith. The initiative will serve the following: Dr. Ronald E. McNair Public School 5, Research & Service High School, Stephen Decatur Middle School 35, Crispus Attucks Elementary Public School 21, Madiba Prep Middle School, and MS 267 – Math, Science & Technology.
“We’re doing this with the hope that we can continue to spread BIG’s positive impact to the future generations of his home borough,” the statement, via Instagram, reads. The collection’s release date has yet to be announced.
Biggie Smalls‘s estate has also recently collaborated with Netflix to produce a new documentary, Biggie: I Got A Story To Tell, which tells the rapper’s story through his fans and fellow artists who have been inspired by his story and his music. The rapper was also recently inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of fame in November as one of only seven rappers currently included.
