Fancy Watching Bill & Ted Drive Porsches Along the Californian Coast?

Of course you do.

Who could resist the prospect of watching Bill & Ted actors Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves push a pair of electric Porsches to their limits along California’s Pacific Coast Highway?

Filmed by Porsche to promote the marque’s first all-electric car, the Porsche Taycan, the video sees Winter and Reeves drive Route 1 from Santa Barbara to the Porsche Experience Centre in Downtown Los Angeles to see what is possible on a single charge.

Along the way the lifelong friends recount their own history of Porsche ownership while taking part in Launch Mode, Hill Climb and Drift Pan challenges.

Reeves particularly is known for his motorcycle obsession and his character in Cyberpunk 2077, Johnny Silverhand, drives a Porsche 911 Turbo.

But at just seven minutes long, the video brings new meaning the phrase ‘leave them wanting more’. By the end you’ll be hoping one of the streaming services signs the pair up for a travel series as the duo’s infectious chemistry plays out on this Excellent Adventure.
