California Roller Coaster Riders Have Been Asked Not To Scream
Can you hold it in?
Ahead of the reopening of theme parks, sports games, and outdoor events, California Attractions and Parks Association has released guidelines to promote safety during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Included in the outline is a request that roller coaster riders to “mitigate the effects of shouting.” Effectively asking those riding to not scream despite the excitement rising nature of attractions. Also included in the “responsible reopening plan” is a note about reduced occupancy on rides and a call for visitors to wear face masks. It is interesting to note that Japan tried something similar, with some amusement parks introducing emotive masks.
In case you missed it, Don’t Peek is a horror short film centered around Animal Crossing.
