BROCKHAMPTON Enlists Danny Brown for New Single "BUZZCUT"
The boyband’s first piece of new material since 2019’s ‘GINGER.’
BROCKHAMPTON has enlisted the help of Danny Brown for their latest single, “BUZZCUT.”
The new track, which clocks in at three-and-a-half minutes, arrives with an accompanying music video directed by Dan Streit, produced by Grin Machine and creative directed by Kevin Abstract. Featuring a mix of live-action footage and 3D animation, the visual displays the boyband and Brown’s brand of chaotic energy, doing everything from physically fighting each other to throwing up a worrying color of liquid and Brown disturbingly chasing the group. It ends with a moment of peace, however, as Joba and Merlyn Wood close out the cut together.
“BUZZCUT” is the essentially group’s first piece of new material since their 2019 album GINGER. The boyband began teasing a followup project at the start of 2021, however its official title and release date are yet to be revealed.
