Following his collaboration with Tyler, the Creator and DJ Dahi for “Gravity” that dropped towards the end of January 2021, Brent Faiyaz has returned with a new solo effort in the form of his latest single entitled “Show U Off”.

The freshly released soulful track is a love letter to women and arrives just within the thick of the celebrations of International Women’s Month. The ballad clocks in at just under four and a half minutes, and features Faiyaz utilizing his silky smooth vocals over a background of various stringed instruments. On the hook, he sings, “I don’t wanna keep you down, A n*gga wanna raise you up, yeah, And someone gotta take you out, Somebody’s gotta show you off”, essentially expressing his willingness to uplift a female love interest.

To accompany the new song, Faiyaz has also dropped an emotional visual that was directed by Mikayla Gamble. For most of the video, the camera lens follows a variety of women and exhibits their encounters with family and friends. Around the three and a half minute mark, Faiyaz‘s face finally surfaces on the screen, and he is later shown standing tall and proud with the aforementioned collection of ladies.

For additional music-related news, HYPEBEAST recently sat down with UK artist Ghetts to speak on his latest album.
