John Elliott's "Grace Slide" Design Is a Mule for the Ages
Lush leather and suede co-mingle atop a sleek upper.

John Elliott‘s in-line footwear collection continues rolling out covetable kicks. Following the hike-ready Speed Lace Up Boot and low-key Edition One Runner, Elliott’s team is serving up a slick set of heel-free sandals, dubbed the “Grace Slide.”
Served in “Black Leather” and “Desert Suede,” the new silhouette is made in Italy, just like Elliott’s other shoes. Both makeups boast soft calfskin suede and full-grain nubuck uppers, layered for comfort and longevity, atop a bespoke sole unit. Therein, the brand has set a branded leather footbed atop an EVA foam midsole and Italian Margom rubber outsole. Each iteration of the Grace Slide features panels that swirl around the sturdy toebox to ensure that one’s foot is well-cradled as the wearer breaks in the sole to match their stride.
Shop both iterations of the Grace Slide on John Elliott’s website and at select stockists for $398 USD. To sweeten the deal, Elliott will donate 10% of sales from the footwear to Frontline Future Fund, which benefits scholarships for underserved pupils seeking a future in healthcare at UCLA Medical School.
