BEAMS and Clarks Originals Reprise Partnership with GORE-TEX Lined Wallabee Lows in Navy
A follow up to the “Beige” and “Black” makeups that dropped back in March 2020.
Clarks and BEAMS are no strangers to working on projects together, especially when it comes to the classic Wallabee Low as the two parties have rolled out collaborative colorways in 2018, 2019 and 2020. For SS21, the British footwear makers and the Japanese imprint are linking up yet again for a brand new GORE-TEX equipped Wallabee Low in “Navy”.
Much like the aforementioned 2020 variations, this newest offering gravitates towards a monochromatic theme. Suede uppers of the timeless silhouette are drenched in a dark “Navy” tone from the front to the rear. As mentioned before, these kicks are bolstered with GORE-TEX lining, making for a functional footwear option that combats against wet weather conditions. This feature is called out by the dark tab that hangs just near the ankle. Inside the shoes, the insoles are coated with a rich burgundy outer, and come decorated with cobranded notations that are drizzled in a metallic silver.
Midsoles continue its darker toned motif by getting doused in the very same tone as the upper, and arrive stacked above Vibram treading which is marked by the yellow pod that rests in the middle.
These are available for pre-order now through BEAMS for ¥33,000 (approx. $304 USD), with deliveries set to hit your doorsteps in late April.
