Zion Williamson's Air Jordan 35 "Voodoo" PE Draws from New Orleans Folklore
With voodoo doll-inspired textile paneling and bold cross stitching.

As Zion Williamson and his New Orleans Pelicans rumble through the NBA season, Jordan Brand has been blessing Williamson with a plethora of Air Jordan 35 PEs — the latest of which is dubbed the “Voodoo.” Inspired by New Orleans folklore and voodoo dolls, Williamson’s latest AJ35 tones down its normal high-tech look for one that’s more layered and intricate.
Typically, the 35’s upper would be constructed of leather and synthetics, but here it’s dressed in a variety of materials that range from brown and faded green textiles on the mudguards to brown nubuck on the heel. There’s also purple and neon green accents on the throat, tongue and midfoot, while the signature Flightwire on the quarter offers a bone-toned hue.
Many of these pieces are embellished with voodoo-style cross stitching, even the neon Jumpman on the tongue. The shoe’s most direct callout to its inspiration arrives on the lateral heel by way of a Tim Burton-like “Voodoo” graphic below the standard Nike Air tag. Down below, a high-gloss purple Flightplate 2.0 with neon Zoom Air bags, a white midsole and slime green outsole round off the look.
Much like Williamson’s past New Orleans Saints PE, the “Voodoo” will not see a retail release. However, you will be able to spot it on the powerful forward’s feet during upcoming Pelicans games.
