Samsøe Samsøe Seeks Stillness and Reflection for FW21
Referencing styles from the ‘70s and the oversized trend of the ‘90s.

Samsøe Samsøe has showcased “Stillness”, the Copenhagen label’s naturistic Fall/Winter 2021 collection. Drawing on aspects of being grounded and seeking stillness in our hectic world, FW21 acts as a reflection of the inspiration trip the brand’s design team took this year.
Describing themselves as “an international brand rooted in Scandinavian simplicity”, Samsøe Samsøe was founded in 1993, when the Samsøe brothers opened a small eponymous jewellery shop in the heart of Copenhagen. Since then, the brand has expanded its offering to both menswear and womenswear, all of which remains true to its Scandinavian ethos.
For FW21, Samsøe Samsøe has showcased its “Stillness” collection that references collars from the 1970s, alongside a variety of relaxed silhouettes inspired by garments from the ‘90s. Oversized checked shirts are married with loosely-constructed blazers for a laid-back yet luxury aurora, as wide pants and shirts only add a sense of style to the selection.
Blends of yellows, oranges and reds meet organic browns and greens to celebrate the importance nature has in the designing of this collection, whie Samsøe Samsøe’s commitment to be 100-percent sustainable by 2024 takes a step closer as FW21 is deemed 75.5-percent more sustainable than its previous collections.
Samsøe Samsøe’s FW21 collection is set to launch later this year and will be available from the brand’s online webstore.
