Zion Williamson's Air Jordan 35 “Home Team” PE Salutes the New Orleans Saints
Just in time for the NFL playoffs.
Jordan Brand is certainly taking care of its hoops athletes this season by supplying them with some striking player exclusives, the latest of which is on-the-rise young gun Zion Williamson whose Air Jordan 35 “Home Team” colorway has just been unveiled. This colorway pops up not too far out from the revealing of Jayson Tatum’s AJ 35 “Tattoo” PE.
Like many of Williamson’s special shoes, this iteration keeps the NOLA-inspired flavor in tact, this time paying homage to the city’s professional gridiron club in the New Orleans Saints. Since the day the #1 overall pick arrived in the Crescent City, he’s never failed to show love to the NFL franchise, especially quarterback Drew Brees who actually gifted the Pelicans forward his jersey moments after getting drafted.
Completely done up in Saints-influenced colors, this court-ready installment wraps the ankle collars, throat and mid-foot arch in black, and complements with charcoal grey overlays ornamented with speckled detailing. In addition, gilded notes sprawl to the Jumpman logos, flecked laces, heightened parts of the Eclipse plate’s gradient pattern and the Saints’ Fleur-de-lis logo stamped into the lateral heel. Peek at the heel tabs and you’ll see that the traditional Nike Sportswear branding has been substituted for “WHO” on one side and “DAT” on the other to mimic the chant of loyal New Orleans Saints fans.
Check out a further look right here, and keep your eyes peeled for Williamson to be rockin’ these in-game soon.
