When it comes to well-seasoned collaborators of Nike, UNDERCOVER surely falls within this field as the Japanese brand has lent its inimitable design language to models such as the Daybreak, Air Max 270, React Presto and more. In 2021, Jun Takahashi and his camp have plans in place to further enrich its kinship with the Swoosh by pushing out more footwear, one pair being this newly surfaced UNDERCOVER x Nike OverBreak SP.

Base layers of these kicks are busy both in texture and color scheme. Its primary “Sail” hue outfits the canvas underlays, shoe laces, and throat overlays, the latter of which are texturized with all-over spike studs. From there, the mudguards are pronounced as they interrupt the brighter ensemble with black outers. Gilded finishes see their way to the heels and Swooshes, the former of which hosts bright white “Jun Takahashi” and “UNDERCOVER” lettering. Further elements to shout out include that of the rose graphics embedded into the mid-foot in addition to the toe box wording that splits between “CHAOS” and “BALANCE”.

The aggressive, hiker-inspired midsole unit also appears with “Sail” surfaces, and comes prepared with bold red molding positioned inside heels and the toes.

This iteration will be dropping alongside three other colorways via Nike within the coming months.

In other news, UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High collaborations are gearing up to launch for FW21.
