UNDERCOVER & Nike Unveil Galaxy-Speckled React Presto Collaboration
Releasing in three colorways before the end of January.
UNDERCOVER and Nike collaborate once again with the unveiling of its React Presto, releasing in three speckled colorways for the season ahead.
Taking a more technical approach than its previous collaborative pairs such as the Air Max 720 and the Daybreak, these three React Presto’s offer a mixture of textiles, overlapping layers and unique finishes that elevate the original design. At the hand of Jun Takahashi, the latest UNDERCOVER collaboration comes in “Mahogany/White,” “White/Black” and “Black/White,” which although are seemingly more understated than previous pairs, feature an all-over speckled finish — similar to the aforementioned 720.
Differentiating this collaboration from the original pair is its reworked sole unit, which now comes equipped with a chunky outsole paired with the signature React technology. Other additions include more overlapping layers, adding panels to the toe box and heel for a sturdier structure. Lastly, UNDERCOVER and Nike craft the new offering from both coated and un-coated mesh, leather, and plastic — the latter being used prominently on the rear where you’ll find UNDERCOVER’s signature underlined “U” emblem.
Take a look at all three UNDERCOVER x Nike React Prestos in the gallery above, and pick up your favorite from stockists such as Sneakersnstuff on January 28 for £149 GBP each (approx. $194 USD).
