Designer Fumito Ganryu and outdoor footwear label Salomon Advanced unveil their third collaborative project. Marking a year since their first partnership, the two entities continue to explore the relationship between outdoor sports, functionality and everyday durability.

The latest Spring/Summer 2021 offering sees Salomon’s knack for technologically advanced comfort merge with Ganryu’s functional wear built for the urban environment. Salomon’s ULTRA sneaker is given an all-white makeover adorned in a zipped-rain cover to withstand the harshest of conditions, keeping in line with the season’s theme of “Free Access to the World for the New Normal.” The minimalist silhouette sees tonal dynamic lines cover the upper with dual branding on either side of the heel, Salomon’s signature “S” is embossed on the toe with Fumito Ganryu’s eponymous label stamped subtly near the toe box.

The campaign’s lookbook presents the sneaker’s outdoor durability as long-distance trail running forms the identity of Salomon. A forest run on crisp white snow exhibits the sneaker adaptability within all-terrain.

Fumito Ganryu x Salomon ULTRA will be available February 12 at select Fumito Ganryu stockists and February 16 on Salomon’s official website and stores.
