Pharrell and adidas Add Four More Silhouettes To the Expansive "Triple Black" Collection

UPDATE (February 24, 2020): The Pharrell x adidas “Triple Black” pack’s drop date been pushed back — it’ll now release on March 19.
ORIGINAL STORY (February 22, 2020): Pharrell and adidas are adding four more silhouettes to their expansive “Triple Black” collection: the NMD Hu, the 0 to 60 STMT, the TERREX Free Hiker and the TERREX Trailmaker Mid. Joining the 19-piece assemblage of “Triple Black” apparel and footwear that the two debuted in December 2020, these four new silhouettes add more adidas Originals flair into the mix and provide adidas TERREX‘s introduction into Skateboard P’s “Triple Black” line as well.
Leading things off is the NMD Hu. Due to its status as Pharrell’s most notable signature model, it’s somewhat surprising that it was excluded from the original “Triple Black” launch. However, this makeup was worth the wait — it features debossed “Breathe” and “Through” graphics on its throat, and adds structure with leather heel pieces. Next is the 0 to 60 STMT, a hybrid basketball silhouette that draws inspiration from motocross. Its signature details are provided by a “Humanrace” text hit on the collar strap that uses the same font as Pharrell’s popular skincare line and an asymmetrical zipped shroud.
adidas’ TERREX line is all about rugged outdoor performance, and the collection’s TERREX Free Hiker and TERREX Trailmaker Mid continue that ethos seamlessly. The first boasts an ultra high-cut waterproof upper with a cocoon-like throat zipper and muted “Humanrace” branding, while the latter supplies a more traditional hiking style with a 5/8 cut and multi-panel build. Both are lined with GORE-TEX to keep the wearer’s feet warm and dry, even in the most inclement of conditions.
Look for all four silhouettes to release via retailers like Nice Kicks come February 26. Prices range from $150-$220 USD.
