Pharrell and adidas Prep 19-Piece "Triple Black" Collection
14 monochromatic footwear silhouettes ranging from the Superstar and Samba to the UltraBOOST 20 and UltraBOOST DNA, all accompanied by five pieces of matching apparel.

Fresh off the launch of a “Humanrace” skincare line, Pharrell is back cookin’ up with adidas Originals, creating a whopping 19-piece “Triple Black” collection. Made up of 11 shoes and five pieces of apparel, Skateboard P and adidas‘ latest is entirely monochromatic, equipped with reflective details and boasts special tonal embellishments.
Footwear offerings are a mix of heritage lifestyle silhouettes and the latest and greatest performance shoes. In alphabetical order, there’s the adilette BOOST, Climacool Vento, Continental 80, D.O.N. Issue #2, NMD R1, Samba, Stan Smith, Sobakov 2.0, Solar Hu Glide, Superstar, Superstar Primeknit, Tennis Hu, UltraBOOST DNA, UltraBOOST 20 and ZX 2K Boost. All are dressed in black and feature Pharrell’s signature anatomy print. Some also work in reflective detailing or Hu triangle logos as well. Of special note are the two UltraBOOST styles — marking the first time Pharrell has worked on any UB — and Donovan Mitchell‘s D.O.N. Issue #2, the first Pharrell re-interpretation of a signature adidas Basketball silhouette. The collection’s apparel is centered around Beckenbauer tracksuits and pants with all-over printed graphics, plus a hoodie, tee and jogging shorts.
“The vision is to further distill the form of functional objects down to their essence. Removing all distractions allows us to see every detail clearly and make the story uniquely ours,” said Pharrell when discussing the collection.
The Pharrell x adidas “Triple Black” collection will launch globally via the adidas webstore on December 12. Footwear ranges in price from $100-$180 USD, and apparel pricing has yet to be announced.
