Patta SS21 Is Its Most Experimental Collection to Date
Drawing on the world’s current climate and historical activist movements.
Patta has built on its recent 991 collaboration alongside New Balance by unveiling the lookbook for its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Drawing on the world’s current climate, the Dutch label has used this season to promote the messages it believes in as a brand.
Looking at cultures it identifies with for inspiration — activist movements like the 2-tone ska, the skinhead movement in 1960s London and Provo in Amsterdam, as well as sporting moments like Zinedine Zidane wearing the NO Antisemitismo / Violenza / Razzismo shirt — Patta introduces its most experimental collection to-date.
Arriving alongside brand staples, SS21 features knitwear, bold all-over prints, sportswear, leather pieces, graphics and accessories, with bold lettering and statement prints taking centre stage throughout. Collaborative projects celebrating activists and cultural heroes will also be released every month, amplifying themes from Patta’s main SS21 line.
Available via the brand’s online webstore, the first drop from SS21 will be available from February 26.
