Paramount+ (CBS All Access) has officially unveiled the trailer for Nickelodeon‘s first SpongeBob spinoff series, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years. Fans recently received a teaser trailer at the beginning of the year, showing audiences a sneak peek at the new animated series of a 10-year-old SpongeBob and friends.

The official trailer of the prequel series showcases additional details of SpongeBob and his friends as they head to sleep-away camp. The group is seen spending time building underwater campfires, swimming in Lake Yuckymuch and catching jellyfish all at the craziest camp in the ocean.

Different from the flagship series, Kamp Koral is expected to use 3D animation as opposed to 2D animation. However, audiences will see the return of the same voice actors playing the iconic SpongeBob cast. Appearances from Patrick Star, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, Plankton, Mrs. Puff, Karel and Pearl are slated to join the series, along with new characters Nobb and Narlene, a pair of narwhal siblings that live in the woods that surround the camp.

Ramsey Naito, Executive Vice President, Animation Production and Development at Nickelodeon recently released a statement saying, “When our younger characters first meet in Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, there is an instant chemistry among them that could only be conveyed by the incredible talents who have lived and breathed them every day for the last two decades. We are so excited to have the original SpongeBob cast join our new series, which is incredibly inventive and funny, and visually stunning in CG.”

Check out the official trailer above. Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on March 4.
