Nickelodeon Previews SpongeBob Prequel 'Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years'
The story of a 10-year-old SpongeBob.
Nickelodeon and Paramount Plus (CBS All Access) have just given a sneak peek at the SpongeBob SquarePants prequel, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years.
Looking to capture a new audience and have mainstream success like its 22-year-old predecessor, the new animated series takes a look at a 10-year-old SpongeBob and all his returning friends, including the new narwhal siblings Nobby and Narlene, in a new CG-animated experience. The preview was unveiled during the halftime celebrations at this past Sunday’s NFL wild-card game where a six-minute-long preview of “The Jellyfish Kid” episode was premiered.
While there is no official news on when Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years will debut on Paramount Plus, we do know that it will be before the latter half of 2021. Take a look at the preview video above.
