Sony Unveils Two Wireless Speakers Carrying Its 360 Reality Audio Technology
Both providing “room-filling sound.”

Sony has introduced two new Bluetooth wireless speakers boasting the company’s innovative 360 Reality Audio technology, which provides “ambient room-filling sound” through three-dimensional sound location data.
At the higher end is the High-Resolution Audio-certified SRS-RA5000, which carries three vertical speakers, three horizontal speakers, and a woofer at the bottom, while the SRS-RA3000 comes in at a lower price point with a pair of beam tweeters and passive radiators as well as a full-range driver and omni-diffuser. Both options provide 3D audio and can calibrate to your room using an internal microphone and a special algorithm conjured by the company, and also boast the Auto Volume feature, which automatically adjusts the volume of each song you play in order to keep your overall experience consistent. For added functionality, the two models also support Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa.
According to Sony’s UK website, the new speakers will arrive in February, with the SRS-RA5000 priced at £500 GBP (approx. $675 USD) and the SRS-RA3000 setting you back £280 GBP (approx. $378 USD). Learn more about Sony’s 360 Reality Audio and the wireless speakers over on the company’s website.
