New Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Premium Is an Homage to Nike's Past
Inspired by the footwear giant’s Blue Ribbon Sports heritage.

Nike has unveiled two new iterations of the Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Premium that pay homage to the heritage of Blue Ribbon Sports, Nike’s former company name. The designs conjure up nostalgic red and white colorways, displayed over one of Nike’s most advanced running shoes.
The silhouette sports a retro-inspired tongue with exposed foam, complemented by Nike’s classic tongue tag and a set of white laces. Much of the uppers have been pared down to its most essential components, opting for a lightweight mesh body supported by a Nike React foam midsole. This colorway comes with a vibrant double-Swoosh overlay along the sidewalls, while a small “Nike” patch logo is stitched onto the rear quarter. A waffle-patterned rubber outsole is added to the midsole as a final touch.
No official release dates have been confirmed, but Nike’s Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Premium “White” and “Gym Red” are expected to land on Nike France’s website for €119 EUR (approximately $145 USD).
In case you missed it, Nike Sportswear will be releasing the Air Tuned Max “Celery” in retro form.
