Nike's Air Force 1 Experimental Gets Shifted Into Stealth Mode
The N. 354 silhouette also features vibrant blue and volt accents.

Conceptual footwear designs are nothing out of the ordinary for Nike, especially for the N. 354 sub-label which is known for devising silhouettes that fall on the more adventurous side of the spectrum. One of this division’s newest offerings that has been well-received from the market this year is the Air Force 1 Experimental which has just made its way onto the radar in the form of a simple “Black” makeover.
The Swoosh model was recently spotted out with glossy “Archaeo Brown” exteriors and all-over branding, but this particular rendition elects to go with a look that is far more understated. Upper layers of these Nike kicks are dripped with a faded black tone, and come constructed with a foam-like material and crinkled textures that look as if someone had taken a vacuum and shrink-wrapped them to fit inside their carry-on luggage. While used sparingly, brighter accents are present via royal blue heel tabs and throats in addition to the bold “Volt” banner that is positioned to the lower heels which features branding and the manufacturing-inspired phrase “This Label Is Your Guarantee of Quality”. More Nike branding is visible through the N. 354 hit that lands on the Swooshes as well as the tonal upside down Nike Air logos on the higher parts of the heel.
Traveling down to the lower region, the midsoles also adopt the creasy-heavy aesthetic, and come supported underneath with all-black outsoles.
If you’re thinking about purchasing, these will be releasing via Nike Japan on February 12 for ¥ 15,400 (approx. $146 USD).
