NIGO Taps JINS for New Eyewear Line JINS & SUN
Just after announcing his upcoming album.
NIGO has teamed up with JINS to introduce a new eyewear line called JINS & SUN. No relation to UNITED ARROWS & SONS, of course.
Under NIGO’s direction, the new line will be produced by affordable eyewear manufacturer JINS. NIGO’s concept of the line was simply summed up in two words: “EVERYDAY EYEWEAR.”
As usual with NIGO’s new efforts, there aren’t many details yet on exactly how the sunglasses will look but a teaser for the upcoming release did show two pairs of glasses with minimal designs. One of the chunky retro styles boasts thick blue frames and another sports sleek, clear frames. The creative also may have teased a first look at the sunglasses in a video promoting a forthcoming NTS Radio program.
The sunglasses will be displayed at a pop-up being billed as “APT.JINS & SUN,” where admission will be limited to 35 groups per day.
NIGO’s upcoming eyewear line JINS & SUN will be available at the “APT.JINS & SUN” pop-up in Tokyo from March 24 – 30, followed by a wider release on April 1 on JINS’ website
In case you missed it, NIGO recently returned to the studio to produce his first original music in approximately 20 years.
