The second collection brings forward an adventurous theme, emphasizing genre-defying silhouettes amongst functional creative designs. The collection puts a Moncler spin on classic JW Anderson archive pieces, informed by travelers on a voyage. The collection features bold Chelsea boots, to quilted long coats and sailing-inspired sweaters and parkas. The collection is expected to transport wearers to their own adventurous dreams while embarking on their own journeys.
Over the years, Moncler Genius has brought together numerous creative directors to create their own individual collections under one brand. Since 2018, the brand has seen great success embracing the motto “One House, Different Voices.” The unique model blends together unlikely fashion collaborations, fitting well with the current “drop” culture in the industry with its semi-monthly releases throughout the year. In the past Moncler Genius has worked with designers such as Craig Green, Simone Rocha, Richard Quinn, 1017 ALYX 9SM‘s Matthew Williams and fragment‘s Hiroshi Fujiwara.
