An Inside Look at Louis Vuitton's First Ever Restaurant and Café
Located at its Maison in Osaka, Japan.

Louis Vuitton has ventured into the food and beverage sector with its first-ever café and restaurant, Le Café V and Sugalabo V. Following the initial news of its reveal one year ago, here’s an inside look at Louis Vuitton’s stunning eatery.
Located in Osaka, Japan, both the café and restaurant feature dishes from famed chef Yosuke Suga, who was once the protégé of the legendary, 32-Michelin star chef, Joël Robuchon. Le Café V is located on the top (fourth) floor of the store, where cocktails are to be served on an outdoor terrace — perfect for shoppers who need a little R & R post- or mid-shopping spree.
The restaurant, Sugalabo V, opens only for dinner and is a concept of Chef Suga’s critically acclaimed, limited seating restaurant of the same name in Tokyo. Behind a set of speakeasy doors, Louis Vuitton’s restaurant features an open kitchen, designed with sleek embellishments and warm woods, distinctly LV.
Louis Vuitton has partnered with Tokujin Yoshioka, a creator for the fashion house’s furniture and travel-inspired accessories collection to add the finishing details to the space. Yoshioka is known for his contemporary, nature-inspired pieces, fitting for the decor of the new restaurant and cafe. The interior, designed by Jun Aoki, is meant to resemble a ship floating on water, with faint reminders of billowing sails.
