Jaden Smith Releases New Music Video for "Photograph"
“Photograph” released as a part of Jaden’s third studio album, ‘CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3’.
Multi-hyphenate musician, global recording artist, entrepreneur and activist Jaden Smith has officially dropped the music video for his CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3 track, “Photograph”.
No stranger to utilizing creative ways to express his vision, “Photograph” is directed by Jaden himself and shot with the same purple-blue hue theme seen across this album’s visuals. The video itself was filmed in New Providence, Bahamas against a cool sunset background. Audiences can see the video cut between scenes of him being pulled in rough waters as well as moments of him being fully submerged underwater. He appears to be holding onto an instant photograph the entire time, alluding to the title and motif of the entire song.
“Photograph” is written by Jaden, alongside Brian Lee and Odessa Adlon. CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3 debuted in August 2020 and is Jaden’s third studio album release. The album is described as a feel-good summertime album, combining elements of pop and hip-hop/rap sounds from his first two albums. The album currently ahs over 200 million global streams and features Jaden’s latest singles “Cabin Fever”, “Rainbow Bap”, and “Falling For You” featuring Justin Bieber.
Outside of the music realm, Jaden Smith has made a name for himself, spearheading many initiatives including the next phase of 501CTHREE, an award-winning water security project that provides innovative and sustainable water filtration systems for communities in need. Jaden is also a force to be reckon with in the fashion industry as an ambassador for Louis Vuitton and collaborator with New Balance.
