A Kind of Guise Draws on Past Journeys for SS21
“Postcards From Everywhere” is a continuation of the brand’s penchant for travel.

Continuing to blend contemporary and timeless designs with both class and function, German label A Kind of Guise returns for 2021 with the first of its Spring/Summer releases. Entitled “Postcards From Everywhere”, this season serves as a continuation of the brand’s penchant for travel and how it finds inspiration from far-flung destinations.
Delving into its archives, the brand remembers past journeys and mixes them with high-quality fabrics like a paper-thin technical material from South Korea, and British Millerain waxed cotton.
The Champara Parka — that comes in either “Dusty Rose”, “Waxed Tumeric” or “Golf Check” — is arguably the hero outerwear offering, a practical and lightweight synthesis between a mac and classic parka.
Workwear also arrives in the form of the Jakarta Jacket which features patch pockets, contrasting buttons, and gently slimmer cuffs, all of which has been crafted with an exquisite cotton-blend that features delicate and intriguing boucle-like texture.
While most of A Kind of Guise’s products are handmade in Germany, for the launch of its new Bari Loafer, the label travels to Northern Italy. Available in two colorways, this updated iteration of the classic Penny Loafer houses a Vibram micro-sole that sits beneath a fine Italian suede upper.
Further outerwear, shirts, pants, polos and accessories complete drop 1 of A Kind of Guise’s SS21 collection, all of which is available now from the brand’s online webstore.
In other news, Pop Trading Company has shared the first of its Spring/Summer 2021 releases too.
