Official Images of the Nike SB Dunk High "Medium Grey"
The kicks are inspired by the Swoosh’s ACG Superdome boot.
When brainstorming new colorways for its popular Dunk lineage, the Nike SB team will often sift through the Swoosh’s archives for design inspiration. And one of the sub-labels that the skateboarding division has turned to on numerous occasions this year has been ACG. We’ve seen this with the previously launched Nike SB Dunk Low “ACG Caldera” and the SB Dunk Low “ACG Terra,” and now we’re seeing that same influence translate onto the Nike SB Dunk High “Medium Grey.” This newly unveiled makeup draws inspiration from the Nike ACG Superdome — a boot-like silhouette that’s built for all-terrain exploration.
Top portion of the kicks mix between smooth leather and buttery suedes, the former of which is covered with a lighter shade of grey while the overlays are wrapped in its titular tone. Tongue banners provide an ounce of pop as they are supplied with pink backdrops and bright blue branding, and this nods to the accents found on one of the Superdome’s OG colorways. Other accents to call out include the eggshell white Swoosh logos and the stark black laces and interior lining.
Early reports are saying that a stateside SNKRS drop has been nixed, but a wider release across the UK and Europe is still in order.
