New Balance’s 1700 Has Been Given an Understated Makeover
The second iteration of the heritage sneaker this year.
Over the past few years, New Balance’s 1700 silhouette has been somewhat neglected. However, following a signature grey glow-up earlier this year the Boston-based imprint has again returned to the ‘90s-inspired sneaker for another understated iteration.
Inspired by heritage designs, the Made in USA 1700 features an array of nubuck and mesh on the upper and a neat embroidered “N” logo, which sits atop an ABZORB midsole for cushioned shock absorption. Dressed in a “Grey/Blue” combination, each sneaker is rounded out with classic lace closure and an embroidered “1700” towards the rear.
New Balance’s Made in USA 1700 “Grey/Blue” is available to buy now from the brand’s online webstore, retailing at £220 (approximately $290 USD).
In other sneaker news, adidas Running has added the Takumi Sen 8 to its ADIZERO line-up.
