Zegna Goes Back to Essentials With Modern Rebrand
With a new Vicuna-tinted logo.
In 1910, Ermenegildo Zegna established his namesake fashion brand in the mountains of Piedmont Northern Italy, built on the natural territory’s purposeful principles and community ethic. Fast-forward to over a 110 years later and Zegna has become synonymous with Italian luxury. Its legacy has been upheld by Ermenegildo’s family, who have kept the brand alive through years of considered reinvention. In Zegna’s new rebrand, the house debuts a modernized logo and fresh perspective in design.
Zegna’s minimalist rebrand pays tribute to the road crossing Oasi Zegna that its founder built following his path towards the future to create an inspiring luxury brand, whilst tuning it’s look around the house’s modern-day audience. Designed with its signature double stripe emphasized with a warm vicuna tone, Zegna’s updated logo includes subtle visual symbolism in the form of a road; a reference to the creative journey the brand has undertaken over the past century. The logo is finished with the new singular brand name ‘Zegna’ styled in a timeless yet impactful font.
Along with the new brand logo, Zegna will harness its expertise in fabric innovation to improve its sustainable practices in the production of its collections. With artistic director Alessandro Sartori at its helm, the brand will place this new purposeful approach within a contemporary design outlook. Stay tuned to HYPEBEAST for upcoming news on new Zegna.
