Founded in Barcelona during the 1940s by José Mestre and Joaquín Ballbé, Meyba was born out of a passion for creating sportswear. When it became the kit supplier of FC Barcelona in 1981, the brand’s profile skyrocketed.

The team at the time was full of star names like Pep Guardiola, Ronald Koeman and Michael Laudrup to name a few, with Johann Cruyff and Diego Maradona also donning the label throughout a successful period for the Catalonia giants.

Now, under the creative direction of Neal Heard, and almost four decades on, Meyba is ready to freshen things up. While the brand is, and always will be, proud of its rich footballing history, it’s now ready to look into the future. Earlier this year Meyba teamed up with British label YMC for a football-inspired capsule, and now is unveiling its forthcoming Spring/Summer 2022 collection, which is expected to release in two installments, with the above lookbook.

Keep an eye out for the SS22 collection which is set to drop early next year via the Meyba webstore, as well as its return to pro club teamwear with new teams being announced next year.

In other news, Malbon Golf has launched its first collaborative collection with Footjoy.
