Haven Kicks Off New Footwear Program With the Release of Its Catalyst Boot
Available now in “Black” and “Wolf Grey” colorways.
In recent years, HAVEN has attached itself to the realm of footwear by occasionally participating in collaborative projects with the likes of New Balance, Converse, Dr. Martens and more. All of these initiatives have been successful on the brand’s end, but it’s now found a way to further impact the space with the launch of the HAVEN Footwear Program — a new in-house strategy that hones in on producing footwear products that merges luxury craftsmanship with technical performance and functionality. And to kick things off, the Canada-based retailer has debuted its brand new Catalyst Boot.
Design-wise, the high-cut silhouette takes inspiration from a Canadian military combat boot and bears a timeless, rugged aesthetic. A durable Kudu suede fabric — which comes from wild antelope from Africa and is extremely soft and durable — makes up the base, and it comes coupled with leather lining, hiking-inspired eyelets and custom YKK Excella™ zippers on the medial walls. Subtle perforations are also added to the tongues and around the collars for breathability.
The foundation of the shoes are crafted with Vibram’s New Winkler outsole which lends wearers with stability and grip, and the midsole units and heel counters are constructed with Zeppa NG5 that enhances the shoes with lightweight comfort and traction.
The Catalyst Boot is available now in “Black” and “Wolf Grey” colorways on HAVEN’s site right now for $635 USD.
