COSTS Adds Astronomical Engravings to the G-SHOCK DW 5600
Sporting a mystic-inspired watchband.
Shenzhen-based retailer COSTS has unveiled a new collaboration, partnering with G-SHOCK for a new take on the DW 5600 model. COSTS has continued the watch’s classic design, while also adding a range of co-branded details, new finishes and technical specifications.
The stand-out feature of the watch is its bright orange underside, which contrasts to the matte black surface of the straps and face. The watchband also features a range of astronomical and archaelogical symbols created by artists, as well as some mystic-inspired phrases.
As well as these COSTS design touches, the G-SHOCK DW 5600 is also shockproof and waterproof to 200 meters, while also featuring a multi-functional alarm clock and countdown.
Priced at 790 CN¥ (approximately $124 USD), the COSTS x G-SHOCK DW 5600 will release on December 19 via the COSTS web store and physical locations.
As well as working with COSTS, G-SHOCK also recently presented a collaboration with HODINKEE and John Mayer that sold out in seconds.
