Will Smith has officially released the trailer for his latest YouTube docuseries, The Best Shape Of My Life.

Earlier this year, Smith took to Instagram to post a candid photo of himself in the “worst shape of his life.” Since the post, Smith has embarked on a journey to lose weight and document his commitment along the way. Smith has said that he was inspired by other celebrities including Anthony Anderson, Dr. Dre, and Marlon Wayans on doing the “Big Willie Challenge.” Throughout the year, Smith has updated his social media channels with his progress, sharing with fans of his new workouts.

The six-part unscripted documentary gives audiences an intimate look at his weight loss journey, which the trailer alludes is just the tip of the iceberg. The trailer dives deeper into the emotional and mental hurdles the actor has faced while trying to lose 20 lbs in 20 weeks. Smith discusses what it is like to get back into shape after 50 years old and is heard saying, “When I started this show, I thought I was getting into the best shape of my life physically. But mentally I was somewhere else. And I ended up discovering a whole lot of hidden things about myself.”

The trailer features additional clips including candid conversations the actor had with his family and doubts he faced along the way. The series The Best Shape Of My Life, releases on his channel on November 8.
