In the clip from the show found below, Salvator Asante, nicknamed “Turtle,” spends an entire episode tracking down the rare “Fukijama Gold” Air Force 1 sneakers which he ends up paying $20,000 USD for. While Fukijama is a fictional artist created for a show, the shoe’s significance in pop culture history has made it a highly sought-after sneaker for collectors.
The Premium Georges “Entourage” sneakers are dressed in white with light blue tumbled leather overlays and gloss leather Swooshes on the laterals. The heels feature “LA” and “Queens Boulevard” text in reference to the character’s Los Angeles roots and Vincent Chase’s performance in the fictional film “Queens Boulevard.” Designed by Bruce Kilgore, the Gold Fukijama Air Force 1 is found in white with gold overlays and features mismatched black and white toe boxes. Unique graffiti-style text is laser-etched throughout the uppers extending to the inner lining, and UNDEFEATED and Entourage logos run across the tongue tabs with additional motifs found on the heel tabs.
In addition to the AF1s, other silhouettes on sale from “The Entourage Collection” include themed “Friends & Family” Dunk Low Samples, Hyperdunks and CP3s.
Sotheby’s “The Entourage Collection” sneakers will be displayed at the auction house’s new Los Angeles gallery from November 1 to 6, and bidding is now live at Sotheby’s website from now until November 10.
