Patta Announces Release Date for Its Nike Air Max 1 “Rush Maroon”
Releasing alongside all-over printed hoodies and sweatpants along with two tees.
Since 1987, the Air Max 1 has continued to withstand the test of time and be one of the Nike‘s key Sportswear models. And this Fall, the silhouette has been remixed by long time collaborator Patta with a wavy makeover, and its “Rush Maroon” variant has now been officially unveiled. This installment is the third collaboration between these two parties this year and follows up the “Monarch” and “Noise Aqua” releases.
Like its predecessors, this forthcoming rendition bears mesh underlays that are covered in a muted gray hue. Smooth leather overlays then overlap across the forefoot, throat, mid-foot and heels, all of which are swathed with its “Rush Maroon” tone. Slivers of silver accents also make their presence felt here as they pop up on the miniature forefoot Swooshes as well as background Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides. A “Patta” hit is embedded onto the tongues instead of the usual Nike Air branding, and the interior lining contrasts with a rustic orange hue.
Dropping alongside the shoes is a matching pullover hoodie and sweatpants that are adorned with all-over patterns alongside maroon and black tees that sport Patta branding.
The whole collection is dropping on November 19 via Patta while a SNKRS launch will follow after. Retail for the shoes is €170 (approx. $193 USD) while the clothes will range from €45-110 (approx. $51-125 USD).
