Take an Official Look at G-Dragon's PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1
Set to release next month.
Following a series of teasers and the full unveil, we now have an official look at G-Dragon‘s PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1. The debut signature sneaker from the South Korean artist serves as the follow-up to the Air Force 1 “Para-Noise” and “Para-Noise 2.0” releases that have been lauded by fans, the fashion faithful and sneakerheads. Building on G-Dragon’s personal style, the Kwondo 1 is inspired by taekwondo, G-Dragon’s legal name and Nike‘s “Just Do It” slogan.
Expressing a clean tonal white look, the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 features premium leather uppers accented by classic brogue details. Striking details found on the shoe include embroidered PEACEMINUSONE daisy logos at the rear, panels that cover the lacing system and branding marked insoles. Finishing up the design of the shoes are solid matching sole units with PEACEMINUSONE elements on the bottom.
Additionally, each pair of G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 comes complete with swappable PEACEMINUSONE aglet marked laces and a special shoebox with matching packaging.
“I want to feel free with the way I wear and style clothes, in addition to everything else that I do,” said G-Dragon. “I hope that people can overcome stereotypes and feel free in their own way by wearing the Kwondo 1.”
Priced at $180 USD, G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 is now set to release December 3.
