EVISU Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary With New Denim Essentials

Throughout its history, Japanese brand EVISU has become known for its denim offerings and the brand’s signature seagull print. For its 30th anniversary, EVISU presents a new capsule collection that furthers founder Hidehiko Yamane’s vision of elevated denim with a vintage twist.

Featuring a Japanese numeral “30” to represent the anniversary, the new collection includes signature EVISU details like the multi-pocket style, colorful seagull, the Godhead and the Ebisu on a range of denim essentials. Crafted from red selvedge denim with colorful seagull print patch pockets throughout is the retro denim set, which serves as a collection highlight. The denim set bottoms feature the multi-pocket design arranged in an “M” shape on the back of the jeans, vintage belt loops and the “30” Godhead leather patch on the waist. Appearing on the set’s jacket is the phrase “BEFORE ANYONE DID ANYTHING EVISU DID EVERYTHING” close to the hem.

The collection also includes hoodies in gray and pink that are complete with the multi-pocket design and a “30TH ANNIV.” embroidery on the pockets. Rounding out the capsule is a white logo tee and a thin-brimmed bucket hat with an all-over multi-color patch pocket with retro rivets and colorful stitching.
