James Blake has dropped off his newest album, Friends That Break Your Heart.

Clocking in at approximately 45 minutes, the 12-track record — which Blake described as a “concept album” — features guest appearances from SZA on “Coming Back,” JID and SwaVay on “Frozen” and Monica Martin on “Show Me.” Friends That Break Your Heart marks the British artist’s first full-length release since 2019’s Assume Form, which heard contributions from Travis Scott, Moses Sumney, Rosalía and André 3000.

“This album is my favorite so far,” Blake confirmed in a statement. “I know that’s what you’d expect me to say because I made it, and all artists think their new album is their best album…But it actually is, so…”

In other music news, Kanye West has earned his first ever diamond plaque with “Stronger.”
