The original Cowboy Bebop anime series is coming to Netflix.

The full show will be available to stream beginning October 21, providing viewers just under a month to binge all 26 episodes of the anime ahead of Netflix’s live-action Cowboy Bebop debut on November 19.

Directed by Shinichirō Watanabe, Cowboy Bebop first premiered in Japan in 1998 and later became the first anime to air on Cartoon Network‘s Adult Swim in the U.S. in 2001. The show is set in the year 2071, following an Earth-shattering event that forced civilizations to colonize surrounding moons and planets. There, the Inter Solar System police draws up a new contract system that allows bounty hunters to turn in criminals for rewards, which ultimately serves as the plot’s focal point.

It is unknown whether Netflix’s acquisition means that Cowboy Bebop will be removed from Hulu, Funimation or any other streaming platforms where the series is currently available.

Next month, the live-action series will star John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, each of whom attempts to escape their past as a bounty hunter, or “cowboy.” “They form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them,” according to the show’s description.
