Samuel Ross’ A-COLD-WALL* is known for its utilitarian aesthetics and the brand’s latest NC.2 High boots are no exception.
Fit for the Fall/Winter 2021 season, the blacked-out ankle-length boots consist of a neoprene upper, a leather overlay, a rounded toe, contrasting panel details and a translucent rubber sole. The industrial footwear option is then finished off with the ACW logo on the side.
On October 11 Samuel Ross unveiled his A-COLD-WALL* collaboration with Beats that re-designed the electronic brand’s Studio3 Wireless headphones with an industrial-inspired design. Featuring a slate, chalk and concrete aesthetic, the new design stays in touch with A-COLD-WALL*’s utilitarian roots.
“The focus of our Beats A-COLD-WALL* collaboration was to convey a universal material language that is both sensitive and recognizable to all, ensuring a minimalistic sensibility carried through the process,” said Ross.
Retailing for $470 USD, the A-COLD-WALL* NC.2 High boots are available now at HBX.
